Overview

Waterford City Community Enterprise Centre (CLG) was established in 2002 to provide a supportive environment for individuals and businesses at the pre-start investigative and early-stage phases of the enterprise development funnel.

Our Ethos

The ethos of the centre has been sector agnostic, operating at the widest opening of the entrepreneurial development funnel to encourage those holding the broadest entrepreneurial ambitions to explore, test and develop their business ideas in a nurturing environment. We provide free pre-start and early-stage business desk space, rent subsidised closed-door offices, formal and informal mentoring, networking and business training at many stages in the business cycle.

Tracy Cullen

What our residents say

  • We have had an office in the centre since 2013 and are very happy there. The centre comprises many different professional businesses so there is a good atmosphere but at the same time everyone has their own privacy. There is a nice café on the ground floor as well as a large communal area which is perfect for a break from the office. Tracy is a pleasure to deal with and is very supportive to us.

    Brian Egan - Bluebird Care

  • We have been in the centre for a number of years and have found the location, security, shared facilities and administration of the building excellent throughout. The building is always well maintained and has a very friendly atmosphere among tenants with the onsite café a great bonus for informal meetings and good coffee.

Dean Gunnip - Tagline Design and Print

  • Green Acre Marketing has been based at the City Enterprise Centre since 2017. Moving to the Enterprise Centre was in direct response to a requirement for more space to grow our business. The centre offers all the amenities we require in terms of additional meeting rooms, boardroom and the added benefit of an onsite café and catering facility. Being based at the City Enterprise Centre offers us a great location and the flexibility to grow our team.

    Aileen Barron, Green Acre Marketing

  • Working in the centre has been a great experience and we have always felt supported. It has been really great to have the opportunity to grow our business and also be part of a community.

  • The flexibility of office sizes on offer is excellent. While our office can cater for 5 - 6 people, there are smaller and larger offices available. There are two superb conference rooms which are great when we have clients or visitors. We're also very lucky to have a café in the building which serves great food and provides a full catering service.
